Magic, Spells, and Other Worlds is a concert experience that explores how composers have drawn on folklore, fantasy, and the supernatural to create some of the most vivid and evocative music ever written. Performed by piano duo Andrew Rumsey and Ivan Horvatic, this program traces a journey from enchantment and innocence through darkness, mystery, and transformation. With favourites like ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’, ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ and ‘Night on Bald Mountain’, this is an ideal program for the whole family! To get in the mood for Halloween, kids are encouraged to give their costumes a test run, as there will be a special prize for the best dressed child (or adult).
